Alex White, LCMHC
Alex White, a fully-licensed LCMHC, entered the counseling field 12 years ago. After learning healthier coping strategies and reaping the benefits from therapy, Alex saw firsthand how therapy improves emotional health. That’s when Alex decided to dedicate his life to helping others.
Alex brings a wealth of experience, not only in private practice, but also nine years of experience providing mental health services at various hospitals. He possesses a unique ability to develop a therapeutic connection, analyze a person’s struggles, and collaborate on a suitable treatment plan. He uses modalities such as CBT and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. However, instead of rigidly following a therapeutic method, Alex prefers to tailor each client’s treatment plan based on what works best for them.
Alex received his Master of Arts in counseling from Criswell College in Dallas, Texas. He specializes in grief, anxiety, and depression. Alex also loves to connect with other parents of autistic children and support them in their journey. He really enjoys helping folks experiencing healthcare burnout, religious hurt and questioning, men’s issues, relationship struggles, anger/stress management, and parenting concerns. Outside of work, Alex likes to explore the outdoors, play sports, and travel with his wife and two boys.
