
Andrea Garcia, LCSWA
Andrea is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) who earned her master’s degree in Social Work and a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia. She provides therapy in both English and Spanish to teens, adults, and couples. Her primary areas of focus include anxiety disorders, depression, life transitions, family conflict, self-esteem, and overall stress management.
Andrea integrates research-based theories and practices to tailor treatment to each individual client, incorporating a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive perspective. She draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic therapy, depending on the client’s needs. Additionally, Andrea has completed Levels 1 and 2 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
As a therapist, she strives to create a warm, compassionate, and comfortable environment for her clients. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, Andrea empowers clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences—helping them gain insight and develop healthy coping strategies. Her goal is to equip clients with the tools they need to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and cultivate a positive sense of self.
