Anna Butler, LCSWA

Anna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She provides individual therapy for college students and adults navigating stress, anger, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, burnout, boundary setting, ADHD, and trauma.

Anna creates a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel safe to explore their authentic selves. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in collaboration and empowerment, fostering a strong, trusting relationship that supports meaningful growth. Anna has a strong grasp of relationship dynamics and is dedicated to helping her clients navigate them with clarity and confidence. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Polyvagal Theory, Anna integrates practical tools with a deep understanding of the nervous system to help clients gain insight and develop effective coping strategies.

She believes the relationship between therapist and client is a powerful part of the healing process, and she approaches her work with compassion, curiosity, and care to guide clients toward greater self-understanding and emotional well-being.
