Felix Blumhardt

For twenty years, Felix has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and she has extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families to support the achievement of their personal goals. Felix is wedded to the belief that the client-therapist relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy. This fit is tantamount to successful collaboration.

Felix is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and incorporates Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work. She strategically draws from these forms to personalize therapy and address each client’s specific needs.

Her authentic, strength-based approach is grounded in empowering individuals to make positive changes for the purpose of cultivating healthy relationships throughout their life cycle.

Felix earned her Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and her M.S.W. from East Carolina University. She is a military veteran who enjoys reading, the outdoors, spending time with her family, and catering to her dog, Bear.
