Lakeisha is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to supporting individuals in navigating life’s challenges and fostering personal growth. She obtained her master’s degree in counseling from North Carolina Central University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Lakeisha’s approach to therapy is integrative, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with a person-centered framework. She incorporates mindfulness and grounding techniques to help clients build self-awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and stay present during times of distress.
With extensive experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, and life transitions, Lakeisha provides a compassionate and supportive space to explore emotions, identify strengths, and set achievable goals.
