Hannah Johnson, LCMHCA
Hannah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) who offers therapy to adolescents 13+, adults, seniors, and couples with a primary focus on trauma, as well as addiction, depression, anxiety, life transitions, LGBTQ+ and gender identity issues, and other life stressors. Her work in community mental health provided her the chance to work with a wide range of clients and presenting issues. She is excited to bring those skills into her practice!
Hannah describes herself as an integrative counselor who embraces feminist, person-centered, emotion-focused therapy (EFT), motivational interviewing (MI), and psychodynamic therapy depending on the client’s needs. These theories speak to her as she believes that empowerment plays a large role in creating an environment that is safe and encouraging. Hannah believes the client-counselor relationship and honesty are the most important aspects in healing. She believes that real change comes as a trusting relationship is built in a non-judgmental environment. Hannah works to show each client that THEY are in control of their healing journey.
Hannah received her master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Georgia. She is an avid plant lover, cat parent, true crime enthusiast, and she loves being outdoors, watching movies, listening to a good book, and spending time with friends and family.
