Andrea is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), who earned her master’s degree in social work and a certificate in marriage and family therapy from the University of Georgia.  She provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families in English and Spanish.  Her primary focus is anxiety disorders, depression, life transitions, family conflict, self-esteem, and overall stress management.

Andrea strives to incorporate different theories and practices in her work in an effort to individualize every client’s treatment to help their particular needs.  In addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Andrea also incorporates other cognitive-behavioral therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based and collaborative approaches.

As a therapist, she strives to create a warm, compassionate, and comfortable environment for her clients.  Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, Andrea empowers her clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences, helping them gain insight and develop healthy coping mechanisms.  Her goal is to equip her clients with the necessary tools to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and cultivate a positive sense of self.
