Brittany Jenkins, LCMHCA, CRC

Brittany (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). She earned both her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling from UNC Chapel Hill.

She specializes in working with adults, particularly those who identify as LGBTQ+ and/or neurodivergent, as they navigate mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, OCD, identity-related issues, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties.

Brittany brings warmth, authenticity, and humor to the therapeutic space. She strives to cultivate an unconditionally safe and nonjudgmental relationship where clients can show up as their most unmasked selves. She draws on evidence-based therapies like ACT, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy to support her clients in developing the emotional insight and flexibility needed to live a life that feels more aligned with their core values.

Brittany approaches therapy through an anti-oppressive framework, and her work is rooted in an awareness of the connection between unjust systems, identity, and mental health. She is deeply committed to inclusivity and is Health-at Every-Size aligned.
