Kylie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Kylie has extensive experience providing substance use and mental health treatment in an outpatient setting by facilitating groups and providing individual therapy. She works with adolescents, adults, families, LGBTQ and the HIV-positive population.
Kylie incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and a strength-based approach when meeting with clients to provide a warm, collaborative experience in managing anxiety, depression, substance use and everyday life stressors. She is also a Certified Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about helping individuals uncover mind-body connections to promote an overall active, healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
Kylie firmly believes in acknowledging a client’s strengths as they overcome shame and guilt from past life experiences. In doing this, she provides a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to achieve goals and find their “inner voice” to become empowered, more vulnerable and more self-compassionate in their everyday lives.
